Sumaiya Dzietror

Sumaiya Dzietror is the co-owner/creative director of the renowned Ghanaian fashion house, Pistis Ghana. Pistis which means “Good Faith” in Greek was established in 2008 after she and husband/co-founder, Kabutey Dzietror,graduated from the Vogue Style School of Fashion & Design.

Sumaiya attended the Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School in Saltpond for her Secondary Education. She also has professional training from Milan & London. She is a mother of three and a firm believer in hardwork, perseverance and God.

Their company Pistis currently stands at the frontline of the fast-growing African fashion industry while making major strides in the international markets. 

Kabutey Dzietror

Kabutey Dzietror is the Co-founder and head of operations at Pistis Ghana Ltd. Kabutey attended the prestigious Presbyterian Boys Secondary School where he studied General science. He was later admitted to the University of Ghana where he pursued a combined major in Psychology and Maths.

He however deferred the course for a year to pursue his passion in fashion at the Vogue Style School of Design. During the period, he met Sumaiya and their creative partnership which later morphed into marriage begun. This creative alliance saw the birth of Pistis in 2008 which landed them some great projects including making outfits for his sisters and friends. 

He is credited as the business maverick behind the growth and success of Pistis Ghana brand; creating a solid business model for the Ghanaian ecosystem. 

He is a passionate designer, loving husband and a dotting father to three daughters who are his joy and pride.
